As Karunyaa is a women driven business and our largest customers are women, we here wanted to talk about the most important aspect of a woman's life, we want to raise more awareness about Breast cancer among all the women.
Breast cancer is still a big worry for women's health. Even though fewer women are dying from it, more women are being told they have it. This might make you feel worried, but it's crucial to know why this is happening.

Why are we seeing more cases?
There isn't a single answer. Here are some possible contributing factors:
· Increased awareness and screening: More women are getting regular mammograms, which can detect cancer earlier. This can lead to a rise in diagnosed cases, even though the actual rate of new cancers might not be changing.
· Lifestyle changes: Factors like obesity, lower birth rates, and delaying pregnancy can influence breast cancer risk.
· Improved diagnostic tools: Advancements in medical imaging may be picking up on smaller tumors that might have been missed in the past.

Is this cause for alarm?
The good news is that even with a slight increase in diagnoses, breast cancer death rates have been steadily decreasing. This is likely due to earlier detection and improved treatments.
What can you do?
· Maintain a healthy lifestyle: Aim for a balanced diet, regular exercise, and a healthy weight.
· Know your family history: Talk to your doctor about your risk factors, especially if you have a family history of breast cancer.
· Schedule regular screenings: Talk to your doctor about when to begin mammograms and other screening tests.
Remember, early detection is key!
By staying informed about breast cancer and taking proactive steps, you can empower yourself. If you have concerns, don't hesitate to discuss them with your doctor.
